Stop losing fasteners between the mesh openings

Fasteners are easy to count, until they are tipped from a small box into a mesh container.

Stbox is a collapsible wire mesh container for storing industrial parts and for repeated handling in the warehouse. The commonly documented 50 × 50 mm mesh supports visibility and ventilation, but it is not a sealed container. For screws, nuts, clips, and other small hardware items, compare the smallest part against the mesh opening before approving the base cage.

  • Mesh first: measure the smallest part, including its orientation and its ability to roll or pass diagonally.
  • PP liner when needed: black or light green PP corrugated panel is shown as an option to reduce abrasion and prevent parts from falling through the mesh.
  • Top lid when needed: a hinged, lockable mesh lid is an option for parts that may bounce, tip over, or require more controlled access.
  • Confirm before production: liner thickness, number of covered sides, fastening method, and temperature resistance are project-specific and must be quoted.

Base cage with door

Use the visible 50 × 50 mm mesh when the smallest hardware is safely retained and visibility matters. The drop-down front door helps operators reach parts without unloading the entire container.

PP liner for small hardware

A black or light green PP honeycomb panel liner can create a physical barrier between parts and the wire mesh. Required thickness, covered faces, and fastening method are not standard data: define them based on the part and the handling route.

Top lid for spill control

A hinged mesh lid and a lockable lid are optional variants. Consider them when parts may bounce out during handling, when the container is placed in a busy aisle, or when access must be controlled.

A practical path from bulk small parts to controlled management

01

Keep the mesh choice honest

50 × 50 mm is a documented mesh option, not a universal answer for every fastener. Size, shape, and orientation determine whether a part can fall through or become caught in the wire.

02

Reduce metal-to-part contact

The PP honeycomb panel liner is shown for protection of precision components. Confirm how much of the interior must be covered and how the liner will stay in place during loading and emptying.

03

Adapt access to the counting job

The semi-drop gate supports manual access to stored materials. It can suit teams that currently count by tipping small boxes, provided the containment configuration is agreed beforehand.

04

Keep handling in the design

Stbox is built around repeated industrial handling, with forklift and pallet truck use documented in the product material. Final fork openings, load center of gravity, capacity, and stacking rules require project confirmation.

Four checks before ordering

1

Measure the smallest part

Submit length, width, height, shape, and a photo or sample. Indicate whether it can roll, rotate, or fall diagonally through the opening.

2

Choose the barrier

Compare the base 50 × 50 mm mesh with a PP liner or a finer mesh alternative. Indicate whether the priority is anti-drop, anti-abrasion, dust reduction, or faster counting.

3

Define the fastening

Confirm liner thickness, covered faces, edge treatment, and fastening method. PP material and temperature resistance are quote checks, not assumed specifications.

4

Review the handling route

Confirm the need for a top lid, fork or pallet truck interface, full-load weight, stacking plan, and environment before final drawing and capacity review.

Questions to define before tipping a box

Will my smallest fastener fall through the 50 × 50 mm mesh?

It could, depending on the part's actual size, shape, and orientation. Do not judge only by nominal length: a narrow or rotating part may pass differently than a block-shaped part. Submit the smallest part size for a containment review. If the base mesh is not suitable, compare a PP liner or a finer mesh specification.

What PP liner thickness is available?
