Main frame
The main frame is the structural starting point for a bay or a continuous row. It establishes the uprights, bracing and support positions. Confirm bay width, reel face width, drum weight and floor conditions before release.
Carack cable drum rack for industrial reel storage: main and add-on frames, 100 mm adjustment pitch, roller-bearing supports, forklift access, and project-specific indoor or outdoor planning.
Cable Drum Rack | Industrial Reel Storage
Carack is a configurable steel cable drum rack for cable reel storage, wire reel organization and controlled dispensing. A main frame carries the load; add-on frames extend the row horizontally. Roller-bearing reel supports let a drum rotate for piece-by-piece withdrawal, while the open front allows a complete reel to be handled with a forklift when the storage plan calls for it.
The 100 mm punched adjustment pitch provides a planning basis for different reel positions. The documented 737–2007 mm reel diameter range is an observed project range, not a fixed rated limit. Final bay count, level arrangement, reel width, load and anchoring must be checked against your drum schedule and handling equipment.

System architecture
Choose the rack arrangement from the operating brief—not from a nominal shelf count. Carack is suitable when reels need organized, accessible support and a defined forklift interface.
The main frame is the structural starting point for a bay or a continuous row. It establishes the uprights, bracing and support positions. Confirm bay width, reel face width, drum weight and floor conditions before release.
The add-on frame uses a single upright and must attach to a main frame. It is for horizontal expansion of the system; it must not be specified or represented as an independently standing rack.
The support bracket uses twin metal rollers so the reel can rotate for controlled pay-out. The support position and shaft or spindle arrangement are engineering inputs to be matched to the actual drum geometry.
Keep the front and approach zone compatible with the planned forklift. For a complete-reel move, the operator removes the reel according to the approved lifting method; the rack does not turn a loaded drum into an automatic pick.

Why cable reel racking

Compared with floor stacking: Carack creates deliberate support and access points rather than relying on chocks and open-floor spacing. Compared with an A-frame: this is a rack-row system for cable reels, with adjustable upright positions and roller supports; it is not a general-purpose light-duty, plug-in shelf.

Application and engineering boundary
If cable reels must remain outside, tell us the exposure, site drainage, wind conditions, foundation, local corrosion requirements and expected maintenance interval. The correct treatment may be a specified galvanized or coating system, but the finish should be selected from the site conditions and confirmed in the quotation—not assumed from a product image.

Buyer questions
One rack can be planned for multiple reel families when the drum dimensions, weights, widths and support heights fit the engineered bay arrangement. The 100 mm adjustment pitch helps coordinate positions. Do not treat 737–2007 mm as a fixed rated diameter range; send the actual reel schedule for confirmation.
The rack is laid out with a compatible approach and lifting zone. The forklift handles the complete reel under the approved site method, with aisle, fork clearance, center of gravity and load limits confirmed in the project design. Operators should not improvise a lift from a loaded bay.
Outdoor use needs a project-specific corrosion-protection and installation specification, including finish, drainage, foundation, anchoring and exposure review. The outdoor scene shown in the product imagery is an application reference, not proof that every configuration is weatherproof without a protection brief.
Floor stacking uses open-floor space and separate restraint practices. An A-frame is commonly selected for a different slab or panel support and transport workflow. Carack is a connected cable-reel rack with punched upright positions, roller supports for controlled dispensing and a planned forklift interface. Select the solution based on reel geometry and movement method.
No. The add-on frame has a single upright and must be attached to a main frame. It is an extension component for a connected row, not a freestanding rack.
No. Carack is an industrial steel cable reel storage system that requires a defined reel schedule, handling plan and installation review. Load, dimensions, anchoring and protection details must be confirmed for the project.
Send reel diameter, width, weight, quantity, dispensing method, forklift details, indoor or outdoor location and target layout. We will use those inputs to prepare the appropriate main/add-on frame and roller-support arrangement.
