How long can the rack handle?

What is the load capacity?
Load is not a fixed catalog number. For this product line, example testing and project discussions often sit around 1.5–2 t, but the final rating depends on the pipe weight, the post count, the base span and the stacking layer count.
How should outdoor storage be protected from rust?
If the rack will stay outdoors or in a humid area, hot-dip galvanized steel is the preferred option. A zinc plus powder-coated finish can also be discussed when appearance and protection both matter. Do not treat standard powder coating as the same as full anti-corrosion protection for outdoor use.
How much space can it save versus floor stacking?
The main gain is not a fixed percentage but a change in storage logic: the pipe moves from horizontal laydown to classified vertical storage, and empty space can be used above or around the rack.
