Derack Shelf for Long Pipe Storage for PVC, PE and Steel Pipes from 3 to 6 m
derack
Prateleira Derack para armazenamento de tubos longos para tubos de PVC, PE, aço e mangueira de borracha. Comprimento, carga e tratamento de superfície baseados em projeto para armazém ou pátio.
A cleaner way to store PVC, PE, steel pipes and rubber hoses
When long pipes are placed on the floor, they take up aisle space, complicate separation, and make sorting slow. The Derack changes the storage logic from floor stacking to structural support: the pipe is held by the shelf body and vertical posts, so the storage area stays organized and the handling route remains clear.
Typical project examples in our material set include shelf layouts for 3 m and 5.7 m pipes, with a 1.13 m width example used for two-row container loading. The final length, number of posts, and load capacity remain design-based and must be confirmed according to pipe outer diameter, quantity, storage environment, and handling route.
- Vertical sorted storage for long pipes, so the floor is not occupied by horizontal lying.
- Forklift handling and stackable layout for a cleaner warehouse flow.
- Surface options for indoor, outdoor, and humid environments, including hot-dip galvanizing protection.
- Built as a design decision, not a fixed-size shelf: length, number of posts, and bay spacing are adjusted to your pipe.

Choose the right Derack configuration for your pipe route
PDP-03
Pipe storage configuration for mixed specifications
Best for locations that need a more general discussion about pipe storage: length, number of rows, handling route, and stacking plan are defined together.
PDP-07
Galvanized Derack for humid or outdoor storage
Use this path when corrosion resistance matters most, especially for humid areas, outdoor stacking yards, or storage adjacent to the cold chain.
CASE-01
Long pipe project case with container-friendly width
Use this case path to compare a real layout approach for long material storage, including the 1.13 m two-row container example from our materials.
What Derack solves for long pipe users
Not floor stacking
Long pipes are held vertically and organized, instead of spread across the floor. This makes aisles clearer and separation faster.
Design-based sizing
Length, width, number of posts, and load are not fixed standards. We configure them according to the pipe outer diameter, quantity, and handling route you send us.
Stackable and forklift-ready
Common layouts support two-layer stacking and forklift handling, which keeps the system practical for warehouse circulation.
Environment-appropriate protection
For outdoor or humid use, hot-dip galvanizing is the safest option. If appearance also matters, zinc plus powder coating can be discussed per project.
From pipe specification to storage layout in four steps
Send pipe information
Share the pipe type, outer diameter, length, quantity, unit weight, and whether it is PVC, PE, steel pipe, or rubber hose.
Confirm the storage route
Tell us whether the shelves will be indoors, in a yard, near a container route, or in a mixed warehouse flow.
Lock in the configuration
We define the length, width, number of posts, stacking mode, and surface treatment according to your actual handling needs.
Build and deliver
After confirmation, the shelf is manufactured as a project order and delivered with the agreed layout logic.
Answers to questions buyers ask first
What length can the shelf support?
Our materials include project examples for storing 3 m and 5.7 m pipes, and the task brief for this page targets 3 to 6 m pipes. The final length is still a design decision based on pipe diameter, quantity, and handling clearance.
What is the load capacity?
The load is not a fixed catalog number. For this product line, example tests and design discussions usually fall around 1.5 to 2 t, but the final rating depends on pipe weight, number of posts, base span, and number of stacking layers.
How should outdoor storage be protected against rust?
If the shelf will be outdoors or in a humid area, hot-dip galvanized steel is the preferred option. A zinc plus powder coating finish can also be discussed when appearance and protection matter. Do not treat standard powder coating as the same as full anti-corrosion protection for outdoor use.
How much space can it save compared to floor stacking?
The main gain is not a fixed percentage, but a change in storage logic: the pipe moves from horizontal lying to vertical sorted storage, and empty space can be used above or around the shelf. In our material set, a 1.13 m width example supports two rows in a container layout, which also helps reduce transport waste.
