What Are Metal Stack Racks?
Metal stack racks are freestanding steel frames with removable vertical posts. They turn any flat floor into vertical storage, then collapse into a compact nested stack when empty.
Each unit is built from welded rectangular steel tubing, finished with a painted or galvanized coating, and fitted with corner cups that accept demountable posts. Loads sit on a reinforced slat base, while the four corner posts let you stack units several levels high without external racking. When not in use, the posts lift out and the bases nest inside one another, cutting empty transport volume by up to 70% compared with fixed stillages.
- Rectangular-tube construction: 50×50×1.5 / 50×50×2.5 frame members with 60×60×3.5 corner posts.
- Demountable posts: Corner posts slot into welded cups for quick assembly and disassembly.
- Nested empty return: Bases stack within each other to reduce back-haul and storage space.
- Custom sizes: Footprint, post height, and tube wall thickness can be adjusted to your load.
