For a semi-outdoor or outdoor parts staging project, confirm exposure before setting the budget: rain and drainage, condensation, standing water, salt mist, chemical contact, cleaning agents, handling damage, and service expectation. Available project records include electro-galvanizing at ≥8 μm, cold-galvanizing at about 10 μm, and a cold/hot-galvanizing budget record of about 10 μm/40 μm. These are design options, not a universal Stbox specification or a generic rust-life promise.

Eletrogalvanizado
A 13967 project records electro-galvanizing with a zinc layer of ≥8 μm and describes use in an open yard against rainwater. Use this record only when the project environment, exposure pattern, and inspection wording match; it is not a universal long-term outdoor guarantee.
ABOUT 10 μm RECORD
Cold-galvanized
The cold-galvanized Stbox is recorded at about 10 μm in project materials 15059 and 15217. It may be considered for general warehouse circulation or a controlled semi-outdoor area only after analyzing actual humidity, condensation, and damage risks.
ABOUT 10 / 40 μm RECORD
Hot-dip galvanized option
Budget 15059 records cold and hot galvanizing at about 10 μm / 40 μm. Confirm which value belongs to each process in the final quote. A higher thickness record may be considered for greater exposure, but by itself it does not establish a salt mist class, chemical resistance, or service life.
Solve the handling problem without hiding the corrosion decision
Visible inventory
Welded mesh allows operators to identify parts without opening a solid box. For small, delicate, or dust-sensitive components, assess whether a hollow PP plate inner liner is needed.
Fold for the return route
When empty, the cage folds to reduce storage volume and return transport. The folded height of 190 mm is recorded only for the 13967 configuration and should not be applied to all sizes.
Designed around movement
Project records support forklift and pallet truck handling. Safe operation still depends on uniform load, center of gravity, fork dimensions, and smooth lifting—not just the cage designation.
Audit the coating
Set the zinc layer target, measurement method, sampling location, local minimum value, and repair rules in the purchase documents. Do not accept "galvanized" as a complete corrosion specification.
