Gemischte Fuhrparks haben selten den gleichen Radstand, die gleiche Lenkerbreite oder die gleiche Sitzhöhe. Die praktische Lösung für einen vielfältigen Fuhrpark ist nicht ein Regal, das behauptet, dass jedes Motorrad passt – sondern ein Regal, das auf das größte tatsächlich gelagerte Motorrad ausgelegt ist, sodass die kleineren Motorräder in dieselbe Stellfläche passen.

In einem Sammlerprojekt wurde 2320 × 1050 × 1400 mm als universelle Aufstandsfläche verwendet, um eine Sammlung von über 200 Motorrädern unterschiedlicher Größe zu organisieren, wobei das größte zu lagernde Motorrad 2270 × 850 × 1300 mm maß. 500-kg-Konzept, ausgelegt auf einen 2.410-mm-Cruiser
Documented in project 15052 for a 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide measuring 2410 mm in length, 945 mm in width, and 1315 mm in height. The rack was drawn at 2550 × 1050 × 1316 mm with a design load of 500 kg and accommodates motorcycles up to 2410 mm in length and 1000 mm in width. The motorcycle is pushed in via the ramp, strapped down, and then loaded into the container by forklift.

Foldable concept for club and dealer fleets
Documented in project 14905 for a club that required 4–12 racks, a foldable base, and plug-in posts, with two-tier stacking at or below 2500 mm total height. The rack was drawn at 2550 × 1050 × 1266 mm and accommodates motorcycles up to 2380 mm in length and 1000 mm in width, with a design load of 500 kg and a front wheel positioning device.

Universal collector size
2320 × 1050 × 1400 mm for a collection of 200+ motorcycles
Recorded in project 15385 for a collector organizing 200+ motorcycles of various sizes that were previously standing flat on the warehouse floor. The universal footprint drawn for this collection was 2320 × 1050 × 1400 mm with a design load of 350 kg, dimensioned for the largest motorcycle mentioned in the conversation at 2270 × 850 × 1300 mm – the 2320 mm length is also suitable for container transport. The posts fold inward to reduce the empty and transport volume.

The largest motorcycle determines the size
A rack designed around the longest motorcycle in the fleet accommodates the shorter ones within the same footprint. The wheel well, the loading ramp and the tie-down points remain in the same place, so loading does not change from motorcycle to motorcycle.
The envelope dimension is confirmed, not assumed
Suitability is checked against the contour of your largest motorcycle — length, width, height, wheelbase, tire size and weight — as well as the overhang your facility allows. A captured figure of 2,410 mm is not a guarantee that every motorcycle up to this length fits into every configuration.
Motorcycles are moved as fork-handleable units
The two- or four-way fork entry is configured project-specifically, with the opening size and center distance specified on the drawing. The pallet, the motorcycle and the tie-down straps are transported together instead of lifting the motorcycle by hand.

Where provided for in the concept, plug-in or inward-folding posts can be separated from the base so that empty racks can be stored and transported compactly. Stacking levels and overall height remain a project-specific decision tied to the rack structure and the motorcycle height.
From your motorcycle list to the approved drawing
Send the largest and the smallest motorcycle
Length, width, height, wheelbase, tire size and unit weight for both ends of your fleet, as well as whether a motorcycle may protrude beyond the rack edge in storage or during transport.
Technical dimensioning
The envelope dimension is checked against the rack, container or trailer, the aisle and any existing racking the pallet must be inserted into. A universal size or two sizes are the result of this check, not an initial assumption.
Drawing approval
External dimensions, design load, fork opening, center distance, wheel positioning method, lashing points and post type are written into the approved drawing before anything is cut.
Production, packaging and loading plan
Surface finish, packaging (film and strapping or wooden crate if you want more surface protection) and the loading quantity are fixed together with the drawing and then re-checked against the loading plan.

Can one rack really hold a 2,410 mm long cruiser and a small sport motorcycle?
Documented Mtrack concepts accommodate motorcycles up to 2,380–2,410 mm in length and up to 1,000 mm in width, and the shorter motorcycles in a fleet fit the same footprint with the same wheel position and the same tensioning points. This is not a claim that every motorcycle fits every rack: each footprint is confirmed against your own largest motorcycle before the drawing is approved.
What happens if my largest motorcycle is longer than 2,410 mm?
This is outside the documented project scope. A longer or wider machine requires a custom footprint, and the pallet length, wheel position, load case and container loading quantity must all be redesigned rather than derived from a standard size.
How was the universal size chosen for a collection of over 200 motorcycles?
In this project the universal footprint was 2320 × 1050 × 1400 mm with a design load of 350 kg, dimensioned around the largest motorcycle mentioned in the conversation at 2270 × 850 × 1300 mm. The 2320 × 1050 mm footprint was also suitable for container transport. These values apply to this collection; they are not a company-wide standard size.
Does 500 kg count as the load capacity for every Mtrack pallet?
No. Documented design loads from projects are 250 kg, 350 kg and 500 kg, and the value depends on the design, the rack size and the motorcycle. The applicable load is stated on your approved drawing, not taken from another project.
May the motorcycle overhang the rack edge?
In one transport project an overhang was accepted, but it is not a standard rule. Whether a motorcycle may protrude beyond the pallet boundary depends on your stacking, storage and container practice and affects the rack size as well as the loading quantity.
What do you need from me to offer a universal rack?
The dimensions and weights of your largest and smallest motorcycle, the forklift direction and fork geometry, the storage or stacking policy, and the container, trailer or rack the pallet must fit into. With this, rack size, load capacity, surface finish and packaging can be offered based on a drawing instead of an assumption.
