Wire Mesh Container for Electronics and Semiconductor Supply Chain Turnover

Make material turnover visible before you make it cleaner.

Mixed parts in cartons or closed plastic bins are difficult to count at a glance. Stbox uses a rigid welded mesh body to make stored material easier to see, stage and move between receiving, line-side storage and the next process.

For electronics, contract manufacturing and semiconductor supply chains, the container is a starting point—not a cleanliness or ESD claim. The required cleanliness level, electrostatic protection, dust-control method and liner specification must be confirmed against your material, process and site rules before ordering.

  • Q235 steel wire mesh container with a collapsible, stackable industrial structure.
  • 50 × 50 mm mesh is recorded in the available project specifications; confirm whether the opening suits your smallest component.
  • Half-drop access supports manual picking and loading without removing the whole side.
  • Forklift and pallet-jack handling are documented options; verify fork openings, equipment ratings and loaded centre of gravity on the final drawing.
  • Empty units can be folded for return logistics and warehouse storage.

OPTIONAL LINER

PP hollow-board liner

Use a liner when components may rub against the mesh, fall through the opening, or need a physical barrier against loose dust. Black and light-green lined examples are available as configuration references.

DUST AND DAMAGE CONTROL

Defined internal protection

A PP liner can reduce direct contact between a part and the steel mesh, but it does not by itself establish a cleanroom grade, ESD performance or a sealed dust barrier.

OPTIONAL COVER

Mesh top lid

A hinged or lockable top lid is a variant for reducing open-top exposure, preventing items from falling out, or controlling access. It is not standard on every Stbox and is not a substitute for a sealed clean container.

A practical container decision, not a compliance shortcut

01

Visual inventory control

The open mesh makes the container contents easier to identify and count during receiving, WIP staging and line-side replenishment. Check the 50 × 50 mm opening against small-part retention needs.

02

Repeatable industrial handling

Welded steel panels, formed feet and bottom reinforcement support a reusable turnover workflow. The final drawing must define the load case, handling equipment and operating limits.

03

Space-efficient empty return

When empty, the collapsible body can reduce storage and return-transport volume. Confirm the folded height, bundle method and freight protection for your selected size.

04

Requirements exposed early

Cleanliness, ESD, dust, liner and lid requirements are surfaced before production instead of being assumed from a product photograph. That keeps the quote tied to your process.

Four checks before your electronics turnover quote

1

Describe the material

Share part size, weight, surface sensitivity, loose-part risk, packing method and whether the material is WIP, finished goods or returnable packaging.

2

Set the environment rule

State the required cleanliness level, ESD control or grounding approach, dust exposure, clean handling process and any customer or plant standard. These requirements are currently unconfirmed.

3

Select protection

Decide whether you need a PP hollow-board liner, partial or full internal coverage, a top lid, locking access, or a different packing method. Each is an option to engineer, not a default.

4

Validate movement and load

Confirm dimensions, door orientation, forklift or pallet-jack interface, load definition, stacking plan, coating and delivery packaging on the final drawing and quotation.

What should you confirm before using a mesh container?

What cleanliness level does Stbox provide for electronics or semiconductor materials?

No universal cleanliness grade is confirmed for this product. A galvanized steel wire mesh container is not automatically a cleanroom container. Confirm the required cleanliness level, cleaning process, allowed residues, handling area and acceptance method for the specific material flow.

Is Stbox ESD-safe?

Do not assume ESD protection from the standard product or from a photo. Confirm the ESD requirement, grounding/bonding method, liner material, surface treatment, handling equipment and any measurement or acceptance test needed by your process. No ESD certification is claimed here.

How should dust protection be handled?

The open mesh improves visibility and ventilation, but it is not a sealed dust barrier. If loose dust or particle ingress is a concern, assess an internal PP hollow-board liner, a top lid and your external packaging or cover. The required coverage and fixation must be specified at inquiry stage.

Should I add a PP hollow-board liner?

Usually consider one when parts can be scratched by the wire, fall through the mesh, or need a physical separation from the cage. Confirm thickness, covered faces, joints, fixation, cleanability and temperature resistance. The liner is optional and its procurement-grade parameters are not yet fixed.

Should I add a top lid?

Consider a lid when the load can spill, the container needs controlled access, or open-top exposure is not acceptable. A mesh lid can reduce fall-out and access risk, but it does not make the container airtight or establish a cleanroom/ESD specification. Confirm the lid, lock and handling interaction.

Which Stbox project specification should I quote?

The available project record for this page is 1050 × 1050 × 1000 mm, 50 × 50 mm mesh, wire diameter at least 5.9 mm, Q235 material, 1000 kg per container, four-high stacking with an upper-container total weight limit of 1200 kg, cold galvanizing about 10 μm, approximately 150 units in a 20 ft container and a 25-day project lead time. These are project-specific records, not a universal Stbox rating; confirm them on the final drawing.
