Multi-Size Motorcycle Pallet Rack for Mixed Motorcycle Fleets

Choose one Mtrack motorcycle pallet rack around your largest bike. Recorded designs cover up to 2,380–2,410 mm length and 1,000 mm width, with custom review for oversized motorcycles.

Size the rack for your largest motorcycle

A mixed motorcycle fleet does not need a different rack for every bike. Start with the longest and widest motorcycle you need to store, then confirm the usable envelope before production.

Recorded Mtrack projects cover motorcycles up to 2,380–2,410 mm long and 1,000 mm wide. That range comes from separate project designs, not a blanket promise that one standard rack fits every motorcycle. A Harley-Davidson Road Glide project used the 2,410 mm reference; a motorcycle club project used 2,380 mm. For a smaller sport bike, the same rack envelope can provide additional clearance, but the final fit still depends on the bike’s overall length, width, height, wheel position and securing method.

  • Largest-bike sizing: set the usable rack length and width from your maximum motorcycle envelope.
  • Recorded range: up to 2,380–2,410 mm long and 1,000 mm wide in referenced Mtrack designs.
  • Mixed collection option: Matthew Stuebe’s project used a 2,320 × 1,050 × 1,400 mm rack concept for a collection of 200+ motorcycles of different sizes.
  • Secure handling: wheel positioning and tie-down points support forklift movement and stacked transport when specified for the project.

Three sizing references, one decision rule

MAXIMUM LENGTH REFERENCE

Road Glide reference: 2,410 mm

For the recorded Bad Boyz Cyclez requirement, the design used a 2,410 × 1,050 mm basis. The rack could accommodate a motorcycle up to 2,410 mm long and 1,000 mm wide.

Outer size: 2,550 × 1,050 × 1,316 mm
Design load: 500 kg
Suitable motorcycle height: 1,315 mm

CLUB STORAGE REFERENCE

Motorcycle club reference: 2,380 mm

For the T1919 Motorcycle Club project, the design accommodated motorcycles up to 2,380 mm long and 1,000 mm wide, with a foldable base concept and removable posts.

Outer size: 2,550 × 1,050 × 1,266 mm
Design load: 500 kg
Suitable motorcycle height: 1,200 mm

MIXED-COLLECTION REFERENCE

Mixed sizes: 2,320 × 1,050 × 1,400 mm

Matthew Stuebe’s project addressed a collection of 200+ motorcycles with different dimensions. The recorded general rack size was selected around the customer’s largest model, not as a universal fit for every motorcycle.

Recorded outer size: 2,320 × 1,050 × 1,400 mm
Design load: 350 kg
Recorded usable motorcycle size: up to 2,270 × 850 × 1,300 mm

What a multi-size rack can—and cannot—do

01

Small bikes can share the larger envelope

If the smaller sport bike stays within the confirmed usable length, width and height, it can be stored in a rack sized for the largest motorcycle. Extra clearance does not replace the need for wheel positioning and tie-down checks.

02

Measure the complete motorcycle

Send overall length, maximum width, overall height, wheelbase, tyre position and weight for the largest model. Handlebar width, accessories and loading angle can affect the practical fit.

03

Choose capacity with the fleet

The referenced projects are not identical: recorded design loads range from 350 kg to 500 kg. Select the load basis from the heaviest motorcycle and the planned handling conditions.

04

Know when customization is required

Motorcycles above the recorded envelope, unusually wide bars, greater height, non-standard tie-down needs or special container clearances require an engineering review. Mtrack does not guarantee arbitrary-size compatibility.

A practical sizing process for dealers, clubs and collectors

1

Identify the largest model

Use the motorcycle with the greatest overall length, width, height and weight as the sizing reference—not the average bike.

2

Share the real envelope

Provide dimensions with mirrors, bars, cases or other accessories that remain fitted during storage and loading.

3

Match the handling plan

Confirm forklift access, stack height, container clearance, loading direction and the required tie-down arrangement.

4

Review the drawing

We confirm whether a recorded design is suitable or whether length, height, load rating or folding details need customization.

Questions before standardizing one rack size

Can one Mtrack rack hold both a 2,410 mm Harley and a small sport bike?

It can be designed to do so when the small sport bike and the Harley both fit the confirmed usable envelope. The 2,410 mm case is a recorded project reference; it is not an automatic approval for every Harley, sport bike or accessory configuration.

What is the longest motorcycle covered by the recorded designs?

The referenced designs cover up to 2,380–2,410 mm in length and 1,000 mm in width. The 2,410 mm and 2,380 mm figures belong to different project designs, so the final size must be checked against your largest model.

Why is the Matthew Stuebe size called a general size?

The project used a recorded outer size of 2,320 × 1,050 × 1,400 mm for a collection of 200+ motorcycles with different dimensions. It was selected around that customer’s largest model and should not be treated as a universal Mtrack size.

When should I request a custom rack?

Request an engineering review when any motorcycle exceeds the confirmed length, width, height or load envelope, or when you need non-standard stacking, container clearance, access or tie-down arrangements. Submit the largest motorcycle’s complete outer dimensions to start.
