  • Fixed load capacity per project — recorded at 250, 350 and 500 kg across different projects
  • Forklift access configured in two or four directions, depending on the drawing

Three ways to secure the motorcycle — clamp, straps or both

Front wheel clamp driven by handwheel

The front wheel is held by a clamp at the positioning point. The mechanism's handwheel controls opening and closing, allowing the operator to tighten once the wheel is seated and release before the motorcycle is rolled out.

Controle: handwheel tightening/release (recorded in project 14476)
Clamp position recorded: front wheel Ø480 mm, project 14476 — a project input, not an applicability range
Clamping force: not published; confirmed in the approved drawing
Wheel range: defined by your tire size, not by a general line table

U-hooks for straps on both sides

U-shaped hooks are installed on both sides of the base so straps can pass to the left and right of the motorcycle, rather than over any random tube. Hook positions are part of the drawing, not improvised anchor points.

Recorded: U-hooks for strap fastening, project 14476
Recorded: hooks on both sides of the rack, projects 14905 and 15052
Strap specification: not published; confirmed with the fastening scheme
Number and spacing of hooks: defined according to the project drawing

Ramps, wheel channel and front stop

The ramps on the base allow the front wheel to be pushed up and into the wheel position, so one person can load the motorcycle without a lift. A wheel channel and a front positioning stop keep it aligned while the clamp and straps are tightened.

Recorded: ramps in the ramp areas of the base, project 14476
Recorded: wheel channel width about 235 mm, project 15575 (project reference)
Recorded: Front wheel positioning device, design 14905
Wheel channel size: compatible with your tire width, confirmed according to the drawing

Why clamp and strap, and not just a strap

1

Front wheel held by the clamp, not by chance

A flat pallet leaves the front wheel free to rotate and shift. The clamp closes over the wheel in the drawn position, and the handwheel gives the operator one clear action to tighten and another to release.

2

Hooks on both sides for a straight pull

U-hooks on both sides allow the straps to pull against the base instead of against a tube with no structural function, so that the bike is contained on the left and right, and not by a single diagonal strap that shifts during front suspension handling.

3

Push in, do not lift

The ramps on the base mean that the bike is pushed up to the wheel position. Heavier touring and cruiser models can be loaded by a single operator, and the wheel drops into the channel at a repeatable point every time.

4

Capacity is a design value, not a series claim

The recorded payloads per rack differ by design: 500 kg in designs 14905 and 15052, 350 kg in design 15385, and 250 kg in design 15575. Your rack is calculated from the bike weight, rack size, and handling method you specify.

Confirming the clamp and strap scheme for your bike

1

Send the bike data

Model, front tire and wheel size, wheelbase or overall length, handlebar width, height, and weight of a single bike. If a fleet is mixed, send the largest and smallest bikes — see the entry multi-size motorcycle pallet rack to learn how one rack or two sizes are chosen.

2

Choose the containment

3

Verifique o local e a viagem

By ramp. The base has ramp areas so that the front wheel can be pushed up and into the wheel position instead of being lifted, and a wheel slot with a front positioning stop keeps the bike aligned while the clamp and straps are tightened. A wheel slot width of about 235 mm appears as a design reference only in project 15575.

What is the load capacity of this rack?

There is no single rating for the whole series. The payloads recorded per rack are 500 kg in projects 14905 and 15052, 350 kg in project 15385, and 250 kg in project 15575. The payload of your rack is calculated from the bike weight, rack size and handling method, and is stated on the approved drawing.

What wheel diameters does the clamp accept?

This is not a published range. Project 14476 records a clamp position designed for a Ø480 mm front wheel, and another project involved a 125-type tire — these are two design references, not a compatibility table. Send the tire and wheel size and the clamp position is checked by us.

Can you guarantee that there will be no scratches or any movement?

No absolute promise is made. The clamp positions the front wheel and the hooks define where the straps pull, which prevents the wheel from turning and the bike from shifting during handling; which contact points carry the load — wheel, tire or frame — is agreed per bike. The clamping force and strap specification are confirmed per project rather than quoted as fixed values.

Does a single rack serve all the motorcycles in my fleet?

Not automatically. Racks are configured around a single vehicle envelope or around two sizes for a mixed fleet, and vehicles that exceed the base are a design decision, not a default rule. Send the largest and smallest motorcycle and we will confirm whether one specification covers both or whether two sizes are required.
